LinkedIn reflection

After wrapping my last venture in January, I had something I had not had for a long time: space to think. For years I was in execution mode. Build, fundraise, hire, manage, solve, absorb startup chaos, keep moving.

The question was always some version of: how do we do more? More product, more people, more opportunities, more markets, more everything. Bigger felt like the natural direction.

But after going deeper into AI and rethinking how companies operate, the more interesting question became different: what if the goal is not doing more? What if the goal is doing fewer things with more clarity, using better tools and better judgment?

Scale is useful when the system is clear. Without clarity, scale just multiplies confusion. Focus gives the company a chance to move with intent before it grows into its own complexity.
